In a Paris prison cell, five inmates use every ounce of their tenacity and ingenuity in an elaborate attempt to tunnel to freedom. Four of the inmates have been together for awhile in their cell, when Gaspard, the fifth inmate, is added to the cell. The original four inmates must decide if they want to take him into their confidence or not and whether to continue tunneling or not.
