The first edition of Student Services was published in 1980, and provided the first comprehensive overview of student services in the field. In the fourth edition, the authors examine the changing context of the student experience in higher education, the evolution of the role of student affairs professionals, and the ethics and philosophies that guide the practice of student affairs work.
Student services work encompasses leadership, teaching, counseling, mediation, advising, programme development, research and assessment are topics covered in this volume.
